Federal Funds - First time home buyers are eligible for the $8,000 tax credit included in the economic stimulus package passed in February. The credit is applicable to primary residence purchases in the United States after April 8, 2008, and before December 1, 2009. Unlike last year’s $7,500 credit this one does not need to be repaid unless you sell the home prior to 3 years from the purchase date. As always additional restrictions exist.
